Patrick Richnow, LL.M.

Lawyer Patrick Richnow has been working for RDP since 2021 and he ist part of the RDP IP department. A further focus of his work is in the area of sports law.

Intellectual Property / IP

The focus of his advice is the strategic protection of ideas and innovations. To this end, Patrick Richnow assists start-ups, medium-sized companies and corporate groups in all matters relating to trademarks, designs and copyrights as well as in the area of competition law. In addition to building and defending trademark and design portfolios, Patrick Richnow enforces his clients' rights in court and out-of-court proceedings and provides pragmatic and individual advice on advertising law issues.

Due to his master’s studies in Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur, Patrick Richnow also regularly represents his clients in international intellectual property matters.

Sports Law

Sports law is another focus of his consulting services. Patrick Richnow advises athletes, clubs and sports companies on all legal aspects of sports. As a former team sportsman, he knows the peculiarities and characteristics of sports and focuses his advice on a "sports-appropriate" solution.
